SymGro was founded in 2024 on the belief that many companies are missing opportunities when it comes to making the best use of their people and processes.
Too often we see companies, from startups and SMEs to large multinationals, approaching the challenge of growth from only one perspective. They either take a process-oriented approach, in which efficiency and structure are central, or they focus primarily on developing their people and corporate culture. This one-sided perspective limits the opportunities for sustainable growth.

Personal introduction
My name is Tim Grootendorst, and with more than 20 years of experience in sales, management and process optimization, I founded SymGro in 2024. During my career I have held various roles in sales, business development and management. In my last position, I was responsible for commercial strategy and policy as a member of the management team within an IT (SaaS) organization.
At SymGro, I combine my experience and passion for developing people and processes to help companies reach their full potential. I believe that true, sustainable growth occurs when people and process are perfectly aligned. My strength lies in quickly analyzing business challenges and my approach is pragmatic and results-oriented, with solutions tailored to each organization.
In addition to my professional life, I am an avid traveler and diver, always looking for new adventures and perspectives. Photography helps me capture these moments, as well as enjoying delicious food and good wine in the company of friends and family.

A personal note
Whereas in business I talk a lot about the synergy or symbiosis between people and processes, in my personal life it works in a similar way. A symbiosis or cooperation between seemingly opposites: tension and relaxation, together and alone, mind and feeling, the material and spiritual. Creating a pleasant balance in order to live a finer, greater or better life.
In that life, I like to enjoy nature. To hike or exercise, to capture in photographs or to enjoy while traveling. At the same time, I am aware of my impact on that same nature. It makes me want to give something back. What once started as a gift for my birthday, planting a tree, is now also part of SymGro.
When I registered at the Chamber of Commerce, I gave SymGro solid roots with 50 trees, but it doesn’t stop here. For every new project I donate 50 trees, worth €250 to TreesforAll. I very much invite you to do the same at the successful conclusion of the project.
