The concept of SymGro

SymGro was founded in 2024 on the vision that companies can maximize their growth potential when people and processes work together optimally. In practice, however, we often see companies – whether startups, SMEs, or large multinationals – approach growth from only one angle.

They often focus either on processes, where efficiency and structure are paramount, or on people and culture, focused on development and motivation. This one-sided perspective can lead to missed opportunities for sustainable growth.

We believe the key to real progress lies in a holistic approach, where both people and processes are fully aligned. When employees are supported by efficient and effective processes, they can make the most of their talents. Similarly, processes deliver their highest value when executed by talented and motivated teams, resulting in an energized environment that enables growth.

About me personally

I am Tim Grootendorst, founder of SymGro, and with over 20 years of experience in sales, management and process optimization, I decided to bring my passion for developing people and processes together here in 2024.

During my career I have held a variety of roles within sales, business development and management, and in my last position as a member of the management team I was responsible for the commercial strategy within an IT (SaaS) organization.

Privately, you can usually find me in The Hague, where I live with my girlfriend and daughter, close to the sea and dunes. I like a social and active life, where I enjoy spending time with friends and family and making memories. Traveling is a passion; discovering new cultures and tastes energizes me and enriches my perspective. In addition, nature offers me great pleasure and relaxation, whether I am hiking, running, or hiking in the mountains.

With SymGro, I bring over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and strategic management gained at companies such as SRC, Samsung, Shippeo and Tvilight. My expertise lies in developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive sustainable growth and open new markets. In previous roles, I have helped several companies strengthen their market position, including transforming sales structures and teams, achieving international growth and building strong partner networks.

SymGro stands out for its pragmatic, people-oriented approach, focusing on both internal teams and customer relationships. My experience in change and project management enables me to manage complex projects smoothly and effectively, with attention to all stakeholders and a focus on results.

I specialize in structuring and improving processes that support growth, and have proven to contribute to revenue growth, employee and customer satisfaction and market expansion in various sectors, from high-tech to supply chain and smart city solutions.

On top of that, I strongly believe in the importance of customer-centric solutions and work closely with our customers to achieve their goals. With SymGro, I am ready to think, advise, and implement.
