Giving back
Born and raised in The Hague, I was a real city boy for a very long time. After I graduated from university, I left for South and Central America for a long trip. It was here that I truly discovered nature. To this day I immensely enjoy being outdoors. Both underwater as a diver, as on land for hiking and running. In my hometown The Hague, I am fortunate to live close to the dunes, the beach and some larger city parks / ‘forests’ and literally able to escape the city in a few minutes into nature which I enjoy immensely.
The awareness that my actions affect the world around me has made me realize how important it is to not only enjoy what nature has to offer, but also to give something back. At SymGro, I want to reflect this personal conviction in our business dealings as well. For every new project I donate 50 trees, worth €250 to TreesforAll. I very much invite you to do the same at the successful conclusion of the project.
